We now have an exciting new opportunity for a skilled and experienced full-time Marketing Project Manager to join our team.

The Role 

The Henry Boot Group Marketing Project Manager (MPM) is responsible for the support and delivery of the corporate marketing and brand strategy. Reporting to the Group Marketing & Communications Director within the Henry Boot Plc Corporate Marketing and Communications team, the MPM ensures that any projects that derive from the Group Marketing and Brand strategies are planned, communicated, and delivered on time and to budget.

As MPM for the Henry Boot Group, you will form part of and work alongside the in-house corporate team and the regional subsidiary teams to help position Henry Boot as a forward-thinking, modern, and progressive business - with growth in its sights. Primarily focused on the activity for the parent brand of Henry Boot, you’ll also support the marketing plans for Hallam Land (our land promotion and planning business) and Banner Plant (our plant-hire and accommodation business). The expected split of your time will be spent on parent brand work for three days and one day each for Hallam Land and Banner Plant.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • You will support the Henry Boot Group Marketing, Brand and Communications Director to deliver a strategic plan of marketing, brand and communications projects for Henry Boot;
  • Work closely with the Henry Boot in-house corporate team (currently six team members) and other subsidiary marketing teams (currently seven team members) in addition to external agency support to help shape, implement and monitor the progress and performance of multiple marketing & brand projects as per our strategy;
  • Take responsibility for our new Henry Boot corporate website, both in terms of its inception, development, performance and content (with the support of our in-house internal and external communications team members and external agencies);
  • Support the development of our new Henry Boot corporate intranet, both in terms of its curation, performance and content (working alongside our in-house internal communications team members);
  • Support the marketing strategies (with the help and guidance of the Group Marketing & Communications Director) of both Hallam Land and Banner Plant to ensure activity is aligned to the commercial / brand goals of those businesses;
  • Produce project marketing and brand campaign plans, timelines and budget trackers;
  • Help curate, organise and produce a varied year-round events programme to encourage and support employee engagement with business activity
  • Work closely with and support the regional teams and the in-house external communications team members to compile marketing content around our ESG / Sustainability / Social Impact projects and their continued promotion;
  • Take ownership of the marketing and communications of the charitable support for our partner charities and targeted sponsorships across the communities in which we work;
  • Support our talent attraction marketing, via marketing at university open days, whilst also championing our work around apprenticeship positions.

About You

  • You will be a great communicator with a good eye for detail and a real sense of creativity, playing a crucial role within the in-house corporate team;
  • A firm grounding in digital marketing, website development, email marketing and brand strategy would be advantageous.
